<p>In the first segment, John M. Phillips, a retired Superior Court Judge, will describe vocational programs for at-risk and disadvantaged youth at Rancho Cielo in the Salinas Valley.</p>
<p>In the second segment, Susan K. Black, President &amp; CEO of Pinnacle Bank, and Steve Wotherspoon, Sr. V. P. of Pinnacle Bank, will discuss community banking in these challenging economic times.</p>
<p>In the third segment, Alfred Seccombe of North Star Construction will describe several of his green projects plus a non-profit program to help small entrepreneurs.</p>

<p>Tom Carleton has lined up another group of stimulating guests for this month&#8217;s installment of the <em>Your Town</em> television (<a href="http://ampmedia.org/" target="_blank">Channel 24</a>) and radio (<a title="KNRY" href="http://www.knry.com/" target="_blank">KNRY 1240AM</a>) program from 5-6 PM on Monday, April 27, 2009.</p>
<p>Nathan Stoopes, Chairman of the Board of Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce, will discuss how the Chamber is promoting and protecting local businesses. Then Mike Thomas, Director of the Center for Sustainable Construction will review the new curriculum at Hartnell College. Later Michael Waxer will discuss a new initiative called Step Up 2 Green for homeowners.</p>

Then Steve Thigpen will describe the latest construction projects by Habitat for Humanity. Later Anna Foglia, Executive Director of Sun Street Centers, will describe their county-wide efforts to prevent alcohol and drug addiction; and Eddie Hathcock will describe their men&#8217;s residential program in Salinas.</p>
