Experience
Tom established his own design firm in the spring of 1992. Prior to that, Tom had been employed as an architectural designer and draftsman for firms in the Midwest, New England and California. With over thirty years in the profession, he has gained experience in a variety of building types of varying sizes to include office buildings and interior space planning, industrial warehouses, shopping centers and tenant improvements, churches and classrooms, medical suites and hospitals, plus apartments and custom residences.
Objectives
For each project, Tom assembles and coordinates a collaborative team of designers, engineers, technicians and builders to respond specifically to the needs and budget of the client. The goal is to produce results that exceed the clients' expectations. The design process draws from the past and future, with one hand in the twentieth century using hand-drawn design sketches developed in personal conversations, and the other hand in the twenty-first century using computer-generated drawings and models.
