This 4,000 sq. ft. custom residence was built in the Bay Ridge subdivision in Monterey. The multi-level home follows the sloping contours on a one-acre site heavily wooded with oaks. The linear Mediterranean design winds through the trees taking advantage of spectacular views of Monterey Bay. The long axis of the house is intersected by an entrance pavilion and trellis leading into the front door, through a vaulted foyer, and outside again to a rear balcony. A sunny corridor runs along the south side of the house linking a series of interior spaces, each with northern views: a formal living room, library, dining room, large kitchen, family room, master bedroom suite, and other bedrooms and baths. Additional living space has been added to the lower level.
