This 6,000 square-foot hacienda in Chualar Canyon was designed by TJC in 1990 at another firm. The owners returned to add a screened porch onto the south-facing patio. They requested an informal space to relax with their grandchildren. The roof structure is exposed. The original materials are extended into the new porch -- roofing, plaster and floor tile.
